Am I the only one who's tired of seeing Batman beat Superman?

That's what I'm saying. This nikka struggles against the likes of the Penguin and the Joker but beats a nikka who benched press the Earth's weight for 5 straight days? :dahell:

From that Krillin vs Batman thread.

If Batman is that strong why does he even have problems with the weaker villains in his city?

he does? news to me...

Bane had to free everyone from Arkham and run up on Batman in the cave as he was taking a breather from spending days without sleep attempting to re-capture everyone that was let out.

Once Bats had recovered and they shot the fair one....Bane caught that fade.

Just like Krillins simp ass would. Because Krillin ain't no killer. And even if he did beat his ass, he would let him live.

And what's the #1 Rule in the Villains Handbook? That's right DO NOT LET BATMAN LIVE. Hell don't even advertise that you killed him, before him and his wide variety of friends figure out some way to bring him back to life via his ashes or some shyt.

If Batman can take out Superman. Why can't Lex Luthor? He's got the resources and he's got the genius level intellect.

Let me guess no prep time?

guys they are just stories, mostly batman stories at that.

yes we know that some fundamental logic must be disregarded when it comes to the idea of batman fending himself against superman but that is precisely the same reason why we enjoy these concepts and these characters in the first place, because we want to believe.

if you're not prepared to make that leap of faith then perhaps non fiction books might be more suitable.

you know why batman could survive in a fight against superman? because he's batman. end of story.

The thing is........to my knowledge Lex Luthor has never outright beaten Superman.

you won't suspend disbelief long enough for batman to survive in a fight against superman...but superman being able to hide his human identity from the world using all but a pair of glasses suits you just fine?

Both are honestly equally ridiculous but the thing is Batman is routinely defeated by much weaker characters than Superman. It makes no sense to go from having your back broken by Bane, who doesn't even have superpowers, to defeating a guy who's heat vision is hotter than the sun.
