I think its cool to admire seeing a building like this but when I see the inscribed images I cant help but to ask. Why do we just admire and not acknowledge what the inscribed images on this particular building represent?

I see Isis(auset) and Toth(tehuti) on this building yet we never really acknowledge what they represent. I think the time is now to start acknowledge what the represent.

Somewhere tropic...
like a reflection of moorish architecture? because it was built in the 1800s by white dudes

that whole spot is famous for its connection to the virgin mary too :patrice:

if you got info that supersedes this, im down to learn :hubie:

Got this from Google, breh

"On Willis’ Rd, the way down to town from the northern end of the Rock, you’ll find the remains of the Moorish Castle, rebuilt in 1333 after being won back from the Spanish."

got you

the first one you posted is in the same town as castle of the moors

this is castle of the moors
sintra_castle_portugal.jpg

this is Palácio da Pena (built by europeans)
Castelo-da-pena-sintra1.jpg

Pena clearly has influence from moorish architecture tho (it's a few KM from COTM), as much as it does european imo
