I'd still take AD in his prime over 98% of RB's in NFL history including LT

Adrian's pass catching and blocking really didn't become an issue until late in his career in Minnesota

Feels like Tomlinson was the beginning of the don't pay rbs close to 30. The generation before him had Smith, Martin, Bettis who were alll production after they turned 30 but Ladsinlisn fell off soon as he got close to 30, abruptly.

LT could do more. Along with Brian Westbrook, most dynamic and versatile RBs for several years.

AP has more raw talent carrying the ball. That's about the only edge I would give AP over LT.


Depends on what you need. They were both top dog of their RB gens tho

Nah. AD was that dude but what LT was doing was silly. He's the prototype for what they want a RB to be. There's no loser between the two but LT was more versatile and just as good of a runner as Ad
