BELOW IS A 17TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ARTWORK. NOTICE, ASIA, EUROPE, AFRICA, AND AMERICA ARE CLEARLY DRAWN IN THE FOUR CORNERS WITH THEIR INHABITANTS HOLDING UP THEIR COUNTRY.

WHY DOES THE EMBLEM OF AMERICA FROM 1798 LOOK LIKE THIS

WHY IS THIS OTHER IMAGE OF AN EMBLEM OF AMERICA WITH "GODDESS LADY LIBERTY MORNING GEORGE WASHINGTON'S DEATH WITH INDIAN" LOOK LIKE THIS?

In this book
"Monteith's comprehensive geography,: With map-drawing and relief maps"
from 1872

The question is, Were there a black race of indigenous people walking around the Americas?

I have more images and more questions. Doing a lot of research.

Isn't it widely accepted that the indigenous people of the Americas ranged from dark to light or am I missing something.

Indigenous peoples of the Americas - Wikipedia
It is not widely accepted that there were dark black Indians running around what is known as Modern day San Jose California and the South East United States. It isn't widely know that the first Indians that Europeans dealt with in the Americas were dark black with African "black" looking features, even darker than how Africans were portrayed by Europeans.

South America I think people are more flexible, but I asked someone about this and they didn't even know that Indians in America had Afros And black features and they exist in our families. My great grandmother was creek indian but looked black. I used to think "oh she is mixed between black and native", now I am realizing, no her black ass and her parents were the natives.

Now this isnt the US but it is the west indies. Whether you want to be semantical over the usage of "black" which was a term the "white" man came up with to cover up history, thats on you. But to us who accept that in modern times "black" refers to dark skinned people with afro like hair, thats exactly what the aboriginal people of America were. Black. And even if they werent "black" by modern terms but dark skinned like Indians from India, is that what we're taught in school? Or are we taught that the "natives" were those mongloids?

So Dark Skin and having an Afro is what makes people "black"?
