So this area of the forum seems to really care about music and discovering dope music from across genres and eras, I think it'd be dope of we did a weekly music club, someone could pick an album thats underappreciated or a classic in whatever genre, we all could listen and discuss (as well as suggest some more albums from that era that are worth listening to). Anyone down for this?
There are a shytload of 70-80's rock artist I know I've slept on, the whole downtempo/atmospheric movement is one where I haven't heard full albums, I won't front, I've never listened to an entire run dmc, rakim, krs, or BDK album, most of my jazz is greatest hit compilations, etc....I've got room to grow and would love to do this on the forum since Im pretty much the only one of my friends who loves music like this.
Week 1 (2/2-2/8): Bloc Party - Silent Alarm (Indie Rock)
Week 2 (2/9-2/15): Bob Dylan - John Wesley Harding (Folk/Blues/Country)
Week 3 (2/16-2/22): Baby Huey - The Baby Huey Story (Funk/Soul)
Week 4 (2/23-3/1): Gonjasufi - A Sufi and A Killer (name your own genre) - album on Spotify
