VOID
  • Macklemore wins best rap artist, best rap album, at the grammies...over Kendrick Lamar
  • Ridley Scott makes a movie about Ancient Egypt with an all white main cast
  • Endless police shootings/killings/beatings of unarmed black people on a seemingly weekly basis
  • Bobby Shmurda shucking and jiving for his corporate white slavemasters at Epic Records (edit: gets arrested for gun charges as well)
  • A supposed celebrity boxing match with George Zimmerman and DMX was supposed to go down, but didn't...
  • Iggy Azelea, a white culture vulture from Australia, has the number one rap song in the country and makes records with it...
  • Raven Simone denounces her blackness on Oprah and claims she is "American" (whatever that is...)
  • Endless thievery of black culture by white people
  • Pharrell leading the pack for a new era of black passive bytchassness with his #NEWBLACK brigade
  • Charles Barkley c00ning hard for whites and throwing black people under the bus in the process
  • Jadakiss reduced to doing collabs with rich white kids trying to be rappers for chump change
  • Ebola becoming a stigmatized "black disease"
  • The Donald Sterling Saga
  • Footage of Justin Bieber singing his new hit song "One Less N******" is unearthed for the first time in years and numerous black celebrities cape for him.
  • Endless c00nery from black celebrities ranging for Terry Crews to Common
  • Cops who rape and kill black people getting rewarded with donation funds
  • YouOKsis paints black men as the face of "Street Harassment"
  • Ray Rice helps to paint black men as the face of domestic violence
  • Adrian Peterson helps to paint black men as the face of child abuse
  • The word "Thug" becomes the new code for "N******"
  • The effeminization of black men continues with numerous black celebs trying to pull off skirts with terrible explanations for them...
I'm missing more, but damn...I know I'm only 30, but I can't even remember a worse year for black folks in my lifetime...

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Ebola crisis and how it's become a black disease in the eyes of the media.

I could have swore there was way worse years than this.

All that pop culture shyt doesn't matter.
Mike Brown and Ferguson put this year on top in my opinion of worse years in my lifetime.

Worse than this IMO was 2005 when Katrina happened...which really alluded in some ways to what would eventually happen this year.

But yeah, you're right...that pop culture stuff doesn't really matter. I just see the bigger picture man...all of that together leads to an all out assault on black folks and black culture...which seems to be happening.

It's been happening, but it's been hidden. Since Obama's reelection, shyt's been going downhill.

not to mention the black man becoming the face of domestic violence via the nfl incidents
the cultural imperialism that iggy azalea embodies
all the instances of police brutality/judicial discrimination

i cant say if its the worst year in my remembrance, because the early 90s were particularly hard for blacks. but we have definitely seen a downturn in relations. As someone said earlier though, I do see more blacks becoming aware and active in the fight against racism, so that is a plus. Gotta find the silver lining in the rain clouds :manny:

I'll trade Macklemore & Iggy being in Hip Hop for Obama being in the white house any day.

They both are just typical suburban white people who don't come from wealthy family's.

I don't listen to their music or support them but i assure you they pose no threat.

The Jews who control Hip Hop that promote the glorification of black on black crime and trap rap is a problem.

Also you gotta remember social media now makes us see every bad thing that happens in the world.

The militarization of the police and 10 year war in the middle east have drained so much money from the US.

And the people on the bottom suffer the worse which is black people and poor white trash.

It is true.

Now in 2015, we gotta deal with a whole nother bytch with the Ebola crisis.
still side eye. if the only time bw can speak out on gender issues is if it doesn't result in somehow making bm look bad, then the women will never be able to speak out. most of the men bw live around are black, the ones flirting with them are predominantly black, the ones making kids/relationships are predominantly black.

you guys should be more worried about the safety of bw than the image of bm. unless of course it is an everyone for themselves type of deal we have going on.
